okay so i’m a beginner and all i want is to bulk up , but not in my legs i need to be seen in the upper body, then when i’m big enough i can start focusing on the legs. so what kind of advantages does leg workout give, is it good to lower metabolism or raise testosterone level?
yes! My boyfriend has a super big upperbody. But his legs have been neglected, now that hes 26 he has bad knee problems. It is hard for your legs to support all the weight on top.
If you just focus on your upper body your lower body won’t be able to keep up with your upper body and it’ll look weird having some muscles bigger than others.

more exercising does increase testosterone. but there is another reason. doing leg exercises like squats helps you develop more balance and conditions your body for lifting much heavier weights. there was an article on bodybuilding.com about a guy who started doing squats legpress calf raises etc after mainly/only doing upper body. he ended up gaining more in his upper body workouts than previously when he didnt do leg workouts.
