Its an awesome exercise and he did a good job of explaining it.
Here is a tip: Posteriorly tilt your pelvis (take the top part back) and flatten the lower back. Suck in your stomach. When you do this the transverse abdominus will pull on the linea alba or your rectus abdominus and compress your abdominal contents placing good pressure on your core. The locked core will force more energy to the working muscles giving the agonist and assistant muscles a better workout.
this type of push up puts a lot of strain on my wrist for some reason. I can do them pretty easily just kills my wrist
