Most martial arts classes have stretching and strength training sessions built into their warm up and what not, each places heavier emphasis on different parts depending on the art. You can supplement your training with yoga (flexibility, breathing), dancing (coordination, stepping), etc. But if you practice a complete system, then you really shouldn’t need a lot of supplements. Honestly, if you can survive and perform all the stretching and strength training methods ascribed by your school/style, then you should already be pretty good without add-ons.
References :
true chinese tai chi also helps with strength and control. stay away from the generic tae kwon do. it is garbage. only take true kung fu and tai chi.
References :
You might take a Ballet Dance Class or two, you will learn how they build up the strength and flexibility. Oh, did I mention the girls are hot!
References :
You're going to laugh but I promise it works VERY well. Take a ballet class. I am a world champion martial artist. I can not recommend a more strengthening exercise than Ballet. Also, it helps a lot with flexibility AND control.
