I am 12
I Play soccer and my coach is heavy on fitness (running)
Our practices are and hour and a half long
I get more exercise than that but what is the recommended amount?
I’m highly Curious.
Practice twice a week.
PE everyday
Long distance run once a week (a mile or so)

I would like to begin a conditioning program (strength and cardio), but would also like to add a self defense aspect to it. I would like it to be low physical impact (ie. not kick boxing) I want to learn how to defend myself as well. Any ideas?

I heard that running or cycling at 75% of your MHR is best for burning fat. However I also heard that doing interval training at about 90-100% of your MHR is more useful… Also i want to keep my muscle mass therefore burning only fat.. Please Help.
