Like say you go through the 12 weeks but still by the end you don’t pass the physical fitness. I’m a 22 year old male, 30 pounds overweight, and I rarely work out. I’m going to graduate with a bachelors degree soon and am considering joining the Air Force Reserve.
My height is 6′ even, I weigh 215 pounds, and I graduate in March.

I heard there is a fitness test as soon as you arrive at boot camp.
I was wondering what happens if you fail this?
I’m about to start the process of joining the Air Force. I’ve started training to become more physically fit, but i’m confused as to whether I am required to take the physical fitness test (run, pushups, situps, ab circumference) before I go to basic, or just during?
would you have to start boot camp all over again?
