I live on a busy street, no sidewalks, 2 kids…excuses excuses. It’s hard for me to get in cardio, I have hand weights at home and love to strength train. If I move quickly in between sets to get my heart rate up, can I still get the benefits of doing cardio+strength training? or do I HAVE to walk/run, etc. to make it work it? I feel in the “all or nothing” mindset, and I am not lifting weights because there may be no sense if I’m not doing cardio. But I’m sure something is better than nothing… right?

I was wondering how long I have to take the test or if there is a limit on how long i take to study before i take it… any information would be great i couldnt find anything on their site but that doesnt mean it wasnt there lol

Im 15 and one of my brothers freinds told me to me to lift heavy weights in small reps.Another told me the complete opposite to lift light weights but in higher reps.Whats the best form if I want to gain weight?

Which method will work best?

Ive recently decided that i want to become a bodybuilder and compete. Ive been lifting weights since 2007 but ive never really considered bodybuilding mainly because i was heavy into powerlifting and looking like a bear lol. so im already pretty advanced when it comes to lifting weights. but now i want to start my journey into bodybuilding. i was 215 at my biggest (last summer) and have been losing weight since then and am currently now at 185, im already muscular but im struggling with my belly (of course right lol?).

as far as the going to the gym, thats nothing, i go to the gym mon-fri and i love it.
the 2 things i was concerned about and needed quick tips on was nutrition and workout routine.
NUTRITION: i eat a lot, i was a powerlifter therefore i was always on the hunt for food, so i have a little belly. question is, exactly how important is nutrition when it comes to bodybuilding? explain plz

WORKOUT PLAN: ive been doing higher reps/lower weights to burn fat and cut. how long should my workouts be? time between sets/reps. how often should i do cardio? etc… just need some quick tips please.

Hi I’m 48 yrs old overweight a smoker and haven’t done anything fitness wise for yrs. Started at the gym today, however after an appallingly slow and exhausting 8 min run on the treadmill (I thought I was going to die) I did manage some other stuff, but I felt utterly utterly exhausted, and a bit shaky, is their anything I can do to alleviate this feeling and is it normal after exertion after such a long absence of zero training, just to let you know; surprisingly for someone so unfit; I have no underlying health problems. I am 6′ tall and weigh 18.5 stones.

Many thanks.

J.

It seems like the small amount of cash that winners receive comes no where near what they spend sometimes for years on coaches, gowns, makeup, fitness coaches, pagent fees, etc. If they can’t reclaim this financial loss, what’s the point? And if it were truly all about scholarships why not achieve that goal through academic success?
