Sharmeta shows a exercise that she does lifting a small amount of weights.

I want to have lean muscles , low body fat and a healthy body. So I want to start a diet , weight lifting and swimming.

I talked with a fitness coach and he told me that swimming and weight lifting will interfere…I mean if I swim while while doing weight lifting the muscles won’t grow…Is that true?

P.S: I will also take protein shakes every weight lifting day..

I am a 16 years old male , can’t brag that I’m too thin but I ‘m not fat either . I want to put some muscles on me and my fitness coach told me that I have to eat a lot….Will sweets(chocolate, candies, cookies) help me put muscles on or will they make me gain fat?

I want to start strength training with weights and I want to start to see results. I was hoping in training my abdomen, arms and legs. Does anyone have any must knows, must dos, and dont dos? Any type of advice?

Acording to the machines at my local gym I burn about 800 calories in an hour long workout at the gym. I was wondering how many calories I burn in a similar length session when using the weights machines. I do 3 sets of 10 on about 15 differnet machines.

I use to train with a trainer eight years ago and I quit after a while because of personal issues. I started lifting again today and I’m using the same trainer that I had 10 years ago. Since we know each other he said that he is not giving me a regular training session but a professional body building session to help me build up a lot of muscles faster. So my question is what’s the difference between the normal way of building muscles compared to the way professionals use to lift weights?
