I’m 16 and I do rowing. I joined the season late and started out okay. I was still one of the slowest on the team but that’s only because I joined late. The coach loved me because I replaced this girl that sucked (she got cut after I joined).
The coach was cheering me on a lot during workouts and stuff and focusing on me. Then all of the sudden he just stopped focusing on me. And one practice the assistant coach went up to me after and told me it looked like I wasn’t trying. And she took video of me and probably showed the main coach. I felt so embarrassed and I couldn’t even make eye contact with the main coach. He was still nice to me though. He just stopped cheering me on during workouts and stuff.
Tuesday I did REALLY well on my workout and I went all out. The guy coach didn’t say anything to me which kind of pissed me off. But the assistant coach told me I was doing awesome. Wednesday morning at practice I showed up like 15 minutes late. And the coach said welcome to me and I said hi but I was really bitchy and I feel really bad. Then at practice the coaches said NOTHING to me. They didn’t compliment me or say anything bad. I have no idea why. I’m assuming it was good since I did well the day before. Or it might have had something to do with me showing up late. But Thursday we all got tested for out fitness. This determines what boat you are in. The coach thought I was gonna do well because he told me I was capable of more and really helped me see that. But I ended up doing worse than the previous test. After I was done I had never seen him so angry. Plus he was in a good mood because everyone else was doing well. He was pissed off because of me.
Then he and my assistant coach were talking to us as a group. I was so angry and about to cry because I did so badly. I was looking down while they were talking. Then I looked up and saw my assistant coach and main coach staring at me. They saw that I was about to cry. But the main coach didn’t even say anything or talk to me individually.
I feel so bad about Thursday. I don’t know what happened but I was just exhausted. Now I am going to continue being in the bottom boat and the coach will probably feel like all the work he did with me was wasted. And I feel bad about showing up to practice late.
Or maybe the coaches think I’m doing fine but I just over worked myself? I don’t know what they’re thinking..What do I do so they don’t hate me? I’m so nervous for practice tomorrow. And I’m embarrassed

I’m trying to start a good workout program that I can stick with. I have a jump rope, a bicycle, and cardio dance for cardio workouts that I was going to alternate throughout the week. Plus, I have those elastic bands (never used, granted) that I have a video for to do strength/resistance training, and I was planning to do yoga and/or pilates twice a week… and I really want to know if this is a great exercise program to help lose the weight and tone muscle. I just starting kickboxing about a month ago but I am very bad at eating healthy. I want to lose weight but I don’t know if I am cancelling out my workout by eating poorly. I don’t want to be wasting my time. If I workout 4-5 times a week will I lose weight if I eat poorly and if not what is a good easy diet to follow. I want to get toned by summer. Thanks.
I am eating 1200 calories a day. On Monday, I do strength training and I have dance for 2 hours. On Tuesday, I have dance for 2 hours. On Wednesday, I do strength training. Thursday I dance for 3 hours. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday I rest. I am 14, 5′6, and 142 pounds. How long will it take me to get to 120 pounds on this program? Is my goal acceptable? What is my plan missing?

I’m about 136lbs right now. I was only 120 before i started a weight training class. I run every day and hardly eat anything. How do i get the muscle to go away? Is running building more muscle?
