I just starting kickboxing about a month ago but I am very bad at eating healthy. I want to lose weight but I don’t know if I am cancelling out my workout by eating poorly. I don’t want to be wasting my time. If I workout 4-5 times a week will I lose weight if I eat poorly and if not what is a good easy diet to follow. I want to get toned by summer. Thanks.

I’m 5′7 and weigh about 155lbs, trying to get down to 135 lbs, I know thats not thin but I just want to get healthy. Currently I am doing cardio for 1 hour about 6 imes a week, but I was wondering whether strength training is necessary for weight loss too.

If yes, what kind of regime should I follow? (weights, exercises?)

Also, should the strength training be done before or after cardio?

I am eating 1200 calories a day. On Monday, I do strength training and I have dance for 2 hours. On Tuesday, I have dance for 2 hours. On Wednesday, I do strength training. Thursday I dance for 3 hours. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday I rest. I am 14, 5′6, and 142 pounds. How long will it take me to get to 120 pounds on this program? Is my goal acceptable? What is my plan missing?

im a 23 yr old female. ive been weight training from the past 2 months. what would be the adverse effects if i concentrate only on cardio and completely discontinue weight training?

I have stopped weight training for 5 months due to injury and i have just got back into training.

I used to be bench 100kg for 4 reps before and how long will it take me to get back upto what i was lifting ?

I have never started in this world of weight training with proper weights and blah blah blah. Well, let me start off witht he details. I am (I think) 5′10″, 150 lbs. or so, and completley unexperienced in this field. I was interested in trying to change my body for the better this summer since I have nothing to do. But I still have some stuff, and, therefore, do not want to spend all my day just working out. I am completley confused on what to use what to do etc. Please help!
Sorry, my age is 14, going to start high school in the fall.

Also, I don’t want to deal with a bunch of equipment, maybe something small like dumbbells or something similar. I also want to eat a good diet, but don’t want crazy protein shakes and stuff like that! I don’t mind natural healthy drinks though.
I also have access to pool, if that helps at all. I love to swim in it.
I also don’t want to work outside my home. Sorry if this is making it very hard, but this is what I have to work with. (The pool is at my home, by the way)
