Exhale as you lift the weight, inhale as you lower it. But if you are unable to do it, just breathe normally. But try to do as suggested….for any movements when working out.

  • rtisunit says:

krb0123 you dont need any rest if its a really light workout i have had my biceps sour for 7 whole days. it really depends on that weight and extant of that workout to determine. i think every ones different and its just what suits you and a individual so take time better safe and sorry so i would wait 48 after a hard workout.

what sucks for us tall guys is that our arm hand doesn’t look that impressive… only when we’re flexing or lifting do our arms explode out.

  • alexsep82 says:

if you want more mass then add more weight so instead of 12 you can only do 8 – 10 , if you are want ur arms to look ripped then you do 12- 15 with less weight

  • probassangler31 says:

you always want to make sure that you EXHALE when exerting. for example with dumbell curls, you want to inhale, then exhale as u bring the weight up, then inhale as u come down. and make sure you come down slowly, like the video insinuates.

Awesome. I hope this helps me get over my stump. I keep getting stronger but not adding anymore size. I like putting my back against a wall or pole so I don’t cheat.

bambee188 when you exert (concentric contraction) you exhale. Then inhale on the return/lowering phase (eccentric contractiin). While performing situps some hold there breath while exerting and breathe out at the end of the exertion.

Warming up is always necessary for any muscle you’re working. But depending on the type of training you’re doing, you might not want to warm up and then jump straight into heavy, heavy weight. But then again, it all depends on what type of training you’re doing.
